The Stoneleigh Kit Car show in Warwickshire is the largest gathering of kitcars of the year and the Lotus 7 Club of Great Britain normally has the largest club stand of all the owners clubs. The 7 Club stand has been known to have over 340 Caterham 7's and Lotus 7's on display and a number of owners often travel across Europe to attend.
The Warwickshire 7s group used to organise the 7 Club stand for a over ten years, but this is our second year of having a rest. Nick and Trish Chan from the Cheshire & Staffordshire meeting have taken over control and a number of Warwickshire 7s members have helped out on the show days.
For any Caterham 7 owners or protential owners, this event is a must for your diary, you will get to see more Caterham and Lotus 7s than almost any other event. The wealth of knowledge and the variety of cars on display is extensive. It is also a great opportunity for making new friends, hearing about potential events being organised and finding answers to any problem you might have with your 7.
Caterham Cars were also in attendance on the club stand, displaying the Caterham R300, R400 and the R500 that appeared on TopGear. Along with a great number of other Kit Car manufacturers and suppliers in the main halls. There are also a number of other impressive club stands that were well worth having a look around. My favourites are the Cobra and GT40 Replicas along with the Ginettas.
